Perfection Repeated Is Mastering Excellence

Winter PRIME Coaches

Our reputation can be found in the character of each of the men and women on this page. We believe that our excellence starts here. It is because of this belief that we hold our standards high when offering invitations to join our team. Each of our coaches brings of wealth of knowledge and passion to our program in ways that enhance the training and experience for all involved.

Delaney Clesen- Coach & Health & Wellness

She has done it all. Four years at Pitt, another two at Florida Atlantic in the sand, and one more professionally overseas. Delaney is currently coaching at Montini High School and training to compete at several AVP events this season. She has established herself as a dominate force indoors and in the sand and we can’t wait to bring her experience to the juniors game this winter. Beyond her gifting on the court as a player she is one of the most caring, and passionate coaches we know. Delaney can often be found in the gym or working with her clients as a “Beach Body” trainer.

Tim Maruyama - Owner & Coach

Starting his game late in his athletic career Tim first picked up a volleyball in 2013 at which he simultaneous launched his first company, Serve City Volleyball. It was not until 2015 that Tim began diving headfirst into the sand and then in 2017 when he launched his second company, Chicago Sand Volleyball. Now in 2018 he is starting his career as player as he starts to train for the AVP. Having always come to volleyball as a student of the game his mental knowledge and coaching acumen is unmatched. His heart is to see young men and women fall in love with the game and to give them opportunities to pursue it at the next level. Tim’s coaching philosophy is simple: Love, Relationships and Excellence.
