SAMPLE TRADITIONAL SCHEDULE


Our traditional program schedule will vary by age group and gender. The following is a sample of our U16 Boys Program in Downers Grove that runs Tu/Th from 8:30 - 10:50a. It is important to understand that each day you will be training during the first wave (8:30 - 10:00a) or the second wave (9:20 - 10:50a) not the full 8:30 - 10:50a schedule. Your specific schedule will be released no later then May 29th. For those of you that need to be in the 1st or 2nd wave, please let us know and we can do our best to accommodate. 

In our boys U16 schedule there will be a max capacity of 36 players. You have the option to sign up with a partner and train with them each week, or join as an individual and be assigned a partner each day. Each session you will play two different opponents to 21, you will ref one game, and train for 40-50 minute block.

What happens if my partner or opponent is a "no show"? 

  • First and foremost we support and encourage athletes to miss several days if necessary for camps, vacations, etc. 
  • Due to the above fact we have great flexibility built in
    • We have three teams per court (6 players) during game play & two - three courts running. 
    • If your court is missing 1 player, then the missing partner will be paired with somebody on the work team.
    • If your court is missing 2 players, then the missing partners will be paired with the work team
    • If your court is missing 1 team (2 players), then the two remaining teams will play a full match
    • If your court is missing 3 players then the missing partners will be replaced with courts 2 or 3's work players.

Are there make up's or reschedules? 

  • No, we suspect we will miss 1 - 3 days for rain outs and that is just the risk we take with an outdoor sport. We carefully picked our price point to help you feel comfortable with the uncertainties of weather and your own personal absences for vacations and other reasons.

What if I signed up as an individual but have become friends with "Joe Volleyball" in the program and we want to pair up after a few weeks? 

  • That is fine. Your schedule may be affected but we encourage this! 

Will we be coached during our games? 

  • Each court will have 1 - 2 court coaches that will be present working with the teams on their court. 
  • We are also working on incorporating a live stream of each court during game play for people to watch from home and for you to review your game footage at your leisure. (Confirmation on this add-on TBA)
